Bernard est capitaine de pêche sur le chalutier semi-industriel Kéréon.
La crise de la pêche et puis la vente contrainte du bateau en 1997, casse le rêve indispensable à son existence.
A terre, le marin n'a pas sa place.En mer, la trace du pirate s'efface. J'ai cherché une possible trace
d'une vie de marin, dans les phrases inachevées de Bernard, les mots écorchés, les yeux rougis pour
avoir trop forcé la vue sur des horizons d'attente. J'ai essayé de trouver ce qui fait une vie,
hors la terre, hors le métier et la mémoire ; malgré l'économie sauvage.Bernard is captain on the trawler " Kéréon ".
Crisis is on fishing activities and then, in 1997, the boat is sold'up. The dream is over.
Whithout sea, the fisher can't find his place. On the sea , the feelings of the pirate wear away.
I have searched for a possible trace of a fisherman life, hearing unfinished words and sentences of Bernard, seeing his redden eyes by wondering waitings. I have tried to find what is making a real life, further than the country, further the trade and the memory ; facing wild and worldwide economy.
